Pass It Around

What would happen if a group of high school slackers grew up and became the faculty at their own high school? Austin High is an irreverent comedy that finally answers that age-old question. Fueled by the threat of a citywide crackdown on anything the gentrification kings deem "weird," the story follows the adventures of the staff of Austin High, and then travels far outside the school walls to chronicle a collection of very colorful characters around Austin.

Kickstarter - Initial Goal Achieved!

We have reached our initial goal of $10,000! The cast and crew of “Austin High” thank you dearly for your contributions.  But don’t fret just because our goal was met—continuing donations are very welcome.  Rest assured that every dollar over our initial goal will go to covering any unforeseen costs, and keeping our little production alive!

Now that principal photography has ended, we turn our attention to the very important post-production phase. This phase is generally more lengthy and costly than the actual shoot. It requires a small army of talented individual responsible for editing, design, mixing, effects, and clearances. And we have one hell of an army.

In addition to post processes, the soundtrack will benefit greatly from an added chunk of change.  Which is of great importance to a movie like this…a movie about the soul of a city, revered around the world for its great music.

Our project will be active on the Kickstarter site for almost a month, and we are asking for your continued support. If you haven’t yet donated, please do – Amazon will not charge your card until our deadline, August 8.

If you have pledged a donation, please pass on this link:

Tweet it, blog it, Facebook it, link it in, or do whatever it is you do to e-communicate with techno-friends.

We can’t wait to share with you the joy, pride, and sense of accomplishment when we screen this film that you helped make happen!

Sent with love and gratitude,
